The University Studies degree is a new, 独特的, flexible academic program that allows adult students the opportunity to obtain an undergraduate degree from the 英国威廉希尔中文网站. Students may choose either the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.

The Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degrees in University Studies offers two distinct pathways for degree completion.

路径1 is for adults who have already earned an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science or its equivalent (60 hours).

通道2 is for adult students who have not earned any previous college credit or have a limited amount of credit earned.

课程

The program is designed to allow students to create an individual plan of study by selecting courses that will assist in the development of intellectual and practical skills, personal and social responsibility, and the competencies necessary for career development and advancement. 课程 are offered in-seat and in online formats.

Students will work directly with an advisor to create a personalized academic plan resulting in earning the 120 credit hours required for graduation.

General Education 课程 – 41 credit hours*
Senior Capstone – 3 credit hours

课程 of different academic disciplines to fulfill upper level courses (39 credits) and free electives (21 credits).

*Credits transferred may satisfy some of the hours required.

Adults who have little to no college credit have the opportunity to apply for up to 12 hours of 先前学习学分. The student must be admitted to the program to submit a portfolio for review for each course for which 先前学习学分 is requested. There is a standard fee for portfolio assessment and for the college-equivalent credit awarded.

申请人与 military training and experience may be able to receive up to 12 credit hours depending on their military experience and the degree program the student chooses. A full review of the transcripts will be completed after an offer of admission is granted.
